This Mouse Thing is Going A Bit Too Far

Well I woke up this morning and shortly thereafter found myself reading a book over a morning snack. That's not so unusual. What was unusual was - that I was in the bookshelf.

But I have work to do, deadlines to meet. What to do?

I had to get to my computer! I figured out I could get over to the lamp pole and run down it.

Made it! But my glasses are way too big! And how can I press these huge keys? Jumping up and down on them is hard. How will I ever get a whole set of manuals written in a week?

Ah! Here's the - um. Mouse. But how can I possibly use this gigantic device?

Without my glasses, I can't even see the monitor. Fortunately I can get on top of this keyboard conveniently leaning against the wall (Thank goodness I'm messy).

Oh dear, my future looks quite different from this perspective! Whatever is a Country Mouse to do?

Ha, I told you! Working too hard will make you smaller and smaller, and then you're glasses won't fit any more. You'd better take some time off, get away from the computer and enjoy spring...

Well as April 1 winds to a close I find my ears diminishing and my fur melting away as I rise like Alice in Wonderland to my former gigantic stature of five foot three and a wee bit. Thanks for dropping by! Hm... Speaking of droppings...
